After a jam-packed few weeks, Jim and I decided it was time to slow down and I knew just the place - Tempat Senang! Last year, I spent one of the most blissful weekends here with my girlfriends, and have been dying to get Jim there. Tempat Senang is a luxury spa resort in Batam, Indonesia - a quick 30 minute ferry ride across the strait of Singapore. Easy, Cheap and Scenic.

Once we arrived in paradise, a driver met us at immigration and quickly escorted us to the impeccably maintained resort. This resort is the epitome of "spa getaway". Limited wifi, excellent food, quaint little swimming pools, outdoor showers, and most importantly - a top-notch SPA! Added bonus - we booked the 6 hour package, because you know, I am not one to turn down 6 hours of Spa. It's just common sense.

It is safe to say that after a full day of being kneaded and stretched, we emerged in a euphoric state ready to take on the rest of 2016.
