HONG KONG

Hong Kong is only 3 1/2 hours away, but it could not feel more different than Singapore!  It only took us about 10 minutes to remember how much we loved the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.  The city itself is gorgeous and steeped in rich culture everywhere you look.

Formula One Singapore

It's the most wonderful time... of the year....

Vroom! Vroom! That's right - it's Formula One Time!
Singapore starts setting up for the race a few months ahead of time, so there is much anticipated excitement by the time race weekend arrives.  The city truly comes alive, and the official celebrity watch is on!

BALI, INDONESIA

Slow Clap for Bali.  Hands down in the running for our favorite trip.

As you may recall, our Bali trip last summer was cancelled due to volcanic ash closing the airport.  We finally got around to re-booking the trip, and feel foolish for waiting so long!

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Our celebratory 31st Birthday Trip was to Ho Chi Minh City, formally known as Saigon (any reason for another vacation - right?).  We immediately took to the patchwork cityscape of HCMC with its high-energy vibes, fabulous food, and tumultuous history.

TOYKO, JAPAN

Kon'nichiwa!

On the way back to the red dot, Jim and I made a pit-stop in Toyko.  Toyko had been on our bucket-list for quite some time, and we can finally confirm it is as delightfully weird as everyone says. From the whacky fashion to the animal cafes - its quirky colors shone brightly from the moment we landed.

CHICAGO

USA! USA!

It had been 5 months since Jim and I were stateside, so we headed home for a much needed visit filled with family, friends, Chipotle, Target and Miller Lite.  You realize how long 5 months truly is when you see how big your nephews/niece have gotten.

MARGARET RIVER, AUSTRALIA

G'Day Mate!
Jim and I just returned from a fabulous week down under in Western Australia.   Most of our time was spent in the Margaret River region (aka the wine region).  It is only a three-hour drive from Perth, but driving on the opposite of the road with kangaroos popping out like deer definitely made it more interesting.
